RadCCORE Program Areas

 
The research projects within RadCCORE are divided into four main Program areas.  Program 1 will develop diagnostic assays for rapid and effective biodosimetry based on gene expression arrays.  Program 2 will develop novel, safe, and effective drugs and candidate molecules for mitigation of radiation injury.  Program 3 will develop therapies to treat acute radiation syndrome.  Program 4 will develop methods to modulate innate and adaptive immunity in response to radiation exposure.
